Pokemon Versions General Discussion

A new topic for one of the most played games on the nintendo DS and previous consoles, but which do people like?, and which starter people do people use, and do people have any problems with the games. I can also help with pokedexes, as i have virtually a full national dex on pokemon pearl and will happily trade to people to get the pokedex.

So let the discussions begin

Red and Blue are the best ones, although Silver and Gold are still pretty good.

Yellow can get the hell out though. Stupid Pikachu.

Did anyone play blue and red and realise that they had killed garys raticate? Before you go on the s.s. ship you fight gary and he has a raticate, the next time you meet him he has no raticate and says something like "you dont know what its like to mourn for a dead pokemon". Ash....you are a murderer!!!

Also, gary tries to get prof oaks affection which is given to ash throughout the game by beating the league. He beats the league and finally gains the affection of his grandfather, when you beat the league and then beat him and ruin his dreams. Pokemon is a very very dark game looking back on things :D

Actually read through this entire thing before. Pokemon is one hell of a messed up world. Everyone just thinks "oh, cute little things battling it out without any consequences" and doesn't realise that it's full of serious amounts of DEEP.
